During your lessons with Scott, there are loads of exciting things to learn - you will learn about the rudiments of drumming and the different rhythms and styles of music whilst also developing your sense of timing and control of your drumsticks to make you sound great on the drums.

Whether you want to learn for fun or you are focussed on a specific goal or even need help setting goals for your drumming - Scott will be there to help and guide you.
With a music career spanning over 30 years, Scott has performed as a touring drummer across the UK, Ireland and Asia and recorded singles and albums with artists such as The Coaltown Daisies, Andrew Alston (Del Amitri), Rebecca Connelly & Benarty. His articles have been featured in drumming magazines, and he has drummed for televised performances with the BBC.
Achieving a degree in Popular Music, Scott went on to co-create Red Rock Music with Singer/songwriter Rebecca Connelly in 2017 and the business has been going from strength to strength - winning the Angus Community Business Award in 2018
Scott has over 15 years experience as a tutor and is dedicated to making music accessible to all. His music work with The Youth Music Initiative, Schools, 16+ groups, Employability, Recovery, ASN pupils, The Elderly and so much more, has seen him travel the nation, bringing musical joy to everyone he works with.
Scott is a friendly, supportive, super-experienced drummer and tutor who understands the needs of developing musicians and will help you achieve your drumming goals.
Scott is also passionate about sound engineering and is developing the Red Rock Music studio to offer excellent audio recording facilities.
